What Is The Remedy For Loose Motion Of A 11 Month Old Baby?
Hi, My kid is 11 months old and for last 3 days, he has loss motion (4 in a day). We have given him Biflor but outcome is not positive, Whenever we gave him milk, the motion is loss but with hard staff like Rice and Bread, we have observed that motion was ok. Please suggest !
Monitor for signs of dehydration. They include 1. Decreased skin turgor 2. Increasing thirst. 3. Sunken eyes. 4. Irritability. 5. Drowsiness. 6. Decreasing passage of urine. If there is blood or mucus in the stool antibiotics prescribed by your doctor may be required.
ORS or any other fluid containing salt and sugar prevents dehydration.
Vomiting should be controlled by antiemetic prescribed by your doctor. Probiotics and zinc will help.
