What Is The Remedy For Night Dreads And Hot Flashes At Menopause Stage?

I am looking for a doctor whose speciality is menapause. I have been to 5 doctors already and I spend more time educating them then they do in helping me. I live in upstate NY and have great health insurance. My major issue is night dreads , almost debilating anxiety, insominia and hot flashes. The cycle starts with the dreads and ends with hot flashes. Sometimes I do not get relief for hours. I have tried 6 types of HRT s and some doctors have suggested anitidepressents. I m not depressed and do know the difference. There has to be doctors out there that have heard my issues before. Please advise,

Hello,

It can be a sign of estrogen depletion and in most cases HRR will helps, in your case HRT is not helpful and thus a low dose antidepressants can be tried.
