What Is The Remedy For Swelling In Throat Since Barium Swallow Test Shows Acid Reflux?

Ok, good evening. How are you doing? My question is from time to time my neck directly under my chin to about above my Adam's apple swells and sometimes feels like a knot is in there. Also, lately I sometimes choke on simple foods and have a hard time swallowing, no matter how tiny the piece my be. I had a Barium Swallow, which only showed Acid Reflex. Past two days it has been really swollen and feels like a lump or thyroid my be enlarged ? what do you think I should do and do you think that is a cause for concern thanks

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
It appears to be the swelling of the thyroid, or may be the tuberculous lymph glands. Which may cause pressure over the esophagus and cause the dysphagia.
As it is a sub clinical infection, it is not always present and wont cause the symptoms continuously and may show the findings when there is swelling.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an esophagoscopy when there is swelling of the neck.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have resistance against such sub clinical infections.
