Hi

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum

This seems to be infected pre-auricular sinus. This happens when the dead cell debris clog the opening of the sinus, followed by bacterial invasion. You need to give anti-inflammatory medicines such as ibuprofen to reduce the pain and swelling at this moment. In the morning, please do consult your doctor as your child will require antibiotics to control the infection.

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum,

Ear pit is called preauricular sinus and is a developmental defect, sometimes get infected.

When infected it needs treatment.

You can start a broad spectrum antibiotic and antiinflammatory drugs with give a hot foamentation to the area.

If no drugs available at present than at least you can give simple paracetamol with a hot foamentation to relive pain.

hope this may help you at your emergency.

regards.
