What Is The Remedy For The Chronic Gastritis Causing Yellow Stools And Acid Reflux?
Hi, for the past 21/2 months I've been taking 1 month prilosec otc, 1 month protonix and now 2 weeks of prevacid. I noticed my stools changed to a yellowish color, around the same time. I have mild chronic gastritis and a hiatal hernia. I had my gallbladder removed 15 years ago. I am concerned about my yellow stools and chronic gastritis. I had No symptoms when I was told of my gastritis 2 weeks ago, following an EGD.. Negative for h-pylori. Since I don't have symptoms, how will I know when my gastritis is gone? Thank You!
HI Well come HCM I really appreciate your concern, actually gastritis is the inflammatory condition is GI track and if it is there then it must be having some symptoms if it is due to infection and as a matter of fact underlying cause of inflammation is matter of concern, in absence of symptoms it may not be inflammatory condition, I would say that most of the time hyperacidity would be cause of inflammatory condition and it need to be given try with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day and Domperidone 20 mg once in day again I would say that in absence of symptoms it is nothing to worry hope this information.
