What Is The Remedy For The Fever, Sore Throat And Cough?

Hi, I have been sick for a week now. First 2 days with high fever, third day no more fever but sore throat started and was EXTREMELY painful. On day 4 the cough started and havent passed yet. My throat is still sore but it is better, my ribs are so painful now from the cough. Doc said rapid strep test was negative, they took throat cultures, and said i have pharyngitis. I did lose my voice for 5 days. Today results of test say 4+ Mixed respiratory flora No Oropharyngeal Pathogens Isolated. What does this mean? I also have had a gunky eye for a few days now I would really appreciate your reply, thanks you
