What Is The Remedy For The Pain In My Tailbone Region After An Injury?
I fell today while ice skating, very hard, on my tailbone. I could not get up right away, I knew I hurt it badly. Now I am in a lot of pain in my tailbone region but I am also having constant pain down my left leg. It hurts when I walk, stand and sit. Should I seek medical attention. I also feel nauseous. Thanks for your help.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Without X-ray, it is difficult to differentiate a fracture from others. I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance.
In the interim, apply ice packs to the affected area,anti-inflammatory drug like motrin to reduce pain and inflammation. Avoid sitting on hard srface and rest well.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
