Hi,

Placentrex injection contains placenta extracts which is used to treat chronic non healing wounds. It works by increasing the blood flow around the affected area. Side effects of Placentrex injection are nausea, vomiting, GIT upset, loss of appetite, liver or kidney damage, hormonal imbalance, pain, irritation or redness at the injection site, allergic reactions etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Zubayer Alam, General And Family Physician
