What Is The Sleep Requirement By An Adult?

Nowadays I sleep less and worried thinking about how well I used to sleep....but some days I sleep for 4.5 hours n feel so fresh through out the day.I don't have a lot of physical activity.what's worrying me is ,will I be able to get my 6.5 hours sleep again??? And is it necessary to get8 hours sleep? What if I'm fine with 5 or maybe 6 hours?do I have to force myself to sleep or keep wondering if I'm sleeping enough?

It is not necessary to complete the number of hours of sleep.
Basically sleep is a physiological phenomenon which refreshes the brain.
If you feel refreshed with 6hours of sleep, i think you should not force yourself to sleep just for the completion of 8 hours. You should stop worrying.
