What Is The Small Mass Visible In A Chest X Ray?

Good evening Doc, my husband had a cough, then went to work and the paint smell made him had shortness of breath, he also had a wheezing and the Dr. gave him an albuterol and said he has an asthma. He gets tired and had an x-ray 7 was told there s a small mass on his x-ray. he s scheduled for a c-scan. this makes us worry exp. for him..please advise.

Mass in X ray can be due to simple easily treatable causes to some serious cancers . Don't be afraid as most are treatable and curable .

Is your husband a Chronic Smoker ?

Also if you can upload the X ray report I can give you most probable causes of mass . Also let me know your Husband's age .
