What Is The Soft Thing That Came Out While Urinating In Child?

My son is 11 years old and just told me that when he was trying to urinate it stopped and then something came out that was soft and then he was able to go again. I have called his doctor but they haven't gotten back to me. He takes Risperidone and clonidine for PDD. Is this an emergency or is it something I am supposed to wait to hear back from his doctor about?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per my clinical experience, the mentioned soft thing while urinating in child is possible cast type material shaded from urinary bladder.
* I would recommend to give him more liquids and observe the subsequent urination for another discharge if any.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
