What Is The Solution For Redness And Tenderness Around Bruise Caused By A Dog Bite?
hi , i was disciplining my dog yesterday night when he tried to nip my arm. i have got a small nick on my arm now. Although it dint bleed( i think the veins in the lower layer might have bleed) i can still see some redness and a sort of a bruise develop around it. also the area pains on touching and feels very stretchy. What should i do?
My dog is 4 years old and got his last dose of all injections only last week.

Bruise normally resolves in about 7-10 days depending on the size, smaller bruises resolve faster.
If the overlying skin is intact then as a treating doctor, i would have prescribed you an oral Vit c for 7-10 days.
