What Is The Solution For Swelling In Leg And Thigh?

I fell in a ditch approx 3 weeks ago. My leg is still swollen on the thigh the size of a football. It tingles and sometimes feels like it is burning. Is tender to touch at first but then i can rub it. I have not been to the doctors, I thought it would go down. Now im a little worried. What do I need to do? 46 female , 160# good health.

Regarding your concern, I would explain that it is necessary consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:
- a leg X ray study
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- nerve conduction studies in order to exclude possible pinched nerve.
