What Is The Treatment For Knee Dysfunctional Problems?
Dear Sir, My Name is Antruse, 28 years of age. For the past ten years I have a little Knee dysfunctional problems like causing pain and sometimes not and making Creaky sounds in knee sometimes, activities such as stair climbing, squatting and kneeling often become uncomfortable, knee flexed (bent) for prolonged period is difficult. I have consulted one orthopedic Doctor, he has advised me to do the chondroplasty surgery to restore this problem. But he has not given full details about will the problem can be cured 100% or not, how soon I can do my normal duties and again will the problem come back or not???. Please give guidance about the surgery is safe or not and my problem can be cured fully or not. your cooperation is highly appreciated. Thanks for your valuable time.
Before discussing about surgery I would recommend performing a knee joint MRI study. Knee surgery is quite safe and effective. But it may need a long time of physiotherapy after surgery.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
