What Is The Treatment For A Lump On Labia Minora?

Hi, i have a pea sized lump on my labia minora. It is not a perfect circle, but it is deformed. It is painful to the touch. It is white in the middle, then dark purple around the white, then a blood-red around the purple. It showed up two days ago, but it was much smaller, and did not look nearly as bad. Should i be worried? Should i visit a doctor? Or is there something i can do at home to make it go away? Thanks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to Bartholini cyst.
I suggest using an anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation.
I also suggest soaking in warm water several times a day.
If the symptoms continue, you should see your gynecologist for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
