Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I fell at practice today when I was doing hurdles. I scraped up my legs, elbow, and shoulder. It is my elbow I am most worried about. Every time I try to bend it, it hurts, and I can never get it to bend fully. I have been icing it, but I fear it is not enough. I have a track meet tomorrow, and I need to know how I can get it to feel better. Thank YOU for your help

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Its good you tried icing over the injury. Apply crepe bandage over the elbow area starting from distal area to proximal so that no swelling comes. And still your pain does not reduce or you starts feeling difficulty in moving your fingers and wrist, kindly consult an orthopedician as you might need medical advice.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harsh Swarup
