What Is The Treatment For A Raised Area Behind The Ear?

I had my 2 yr old daughter's ears pierced around 6 months ago. She has had somewhat of a small problem with one of them healing, and just last night i found a raised area behind her ear that seeped when i applied pressure. Should I take her to see her doctore?
