What Is The Treatment For An Itchy Spot On Waistline?

I have an itchy spot on my waistline on the right side. It is not a rash and feels internal and arises after eating I had a bad fall landing on my stomach and breaking 5 vertebrae in my back. T 9 and 11 were the worst and I had kyphoplasty for those. This pain goes to my back also. The fall was 4 months ago. Kathy in Pa. YYYY@YYYY

Hi,

It may be localised pruritus of unknown origin. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

I would recommend you to take a course of oral steroid in tapering dose and antihistaminics for few weeks. You may consult the neurologist also.

Hope this helps.
