What Is The Treatment For Anal Itching And Blood In Stools?
hi doctor, I was diagnosed with an anal fissure earlier, and it healed, but two days ago again I noticed blood in my stool. Other symptoms are itching, pain and cramps in the anal region. Somebody also told me it could be first degree piles as fissure occurrence is again and again. This the third time fissure is healed and again cracked. What it could be, one symptom prevailing is that feeling heaviness in the anal region while sitting in one position for 10-15 minutes Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It sounds like you might have hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids can cause bleeding, and often also cause itching and pain while sitting too long. Do you notice any purple-ish bumps around your anus (hard to check, I know)? If so, you can by some Preparation H over-the-counter at your local pharmacy and it should provide you some relief.
Another possibility is recurrence of your anal fissue, but that would usually present with a lot more pain (especially with bowel movements). I would recommend that you start taking stool softeners in either case, since constipation can worsen fissures OR hemorrhoids.
