I was just diagnosed(last week) w/Sjogrens syndrome, Hashimotots small tumor/cyst as well), and the big one AS Ankylosing Sponoylistis. A lot to swallow (when I can LOL...1st thoughts on attacking AS?...Rhuemy thought we should try Humira...Medicare says co-pay ...wait for it 2,ooo/mo...wht? this is crazy...I cant t do that my SSD is 1500 before they take out the medicare (but I have some assests which I guesI need to lose before thy MIGHT give me any assisstant)...which apparently doesn t pay for anything. Any advice on how t handle this. I m 48 F tht used to be very active...now just going through the staged of shock, sadness, anger...not sure what next.
You may need proper exercises and lifestyle modifications. In ankylosing spondylitis there is progressive stiffness so you need vigorous daily exercises and physiotherapy. Epidural steroid injection may help if pain persists. Tab indocap 25mg is good to relieve stiffness and pain of ankylosing spondylitis. You can start sazo 500 consulting your doctor. Your other reports are with in normal limit. Humira is biologic medicine with side effects ,get aware of side effects before taking it.
