my boyfriend has had large amounts of blood in his stool and they alternate between normal and loose. about 2 months ago he had this happen and then it went away. we were in jamacia for 2 weeks and it happened there once and the day after we were back it happened for almost a week and it stopped for awhile and now its started again ,he said he has a weird feeling on his lower left side but has no pain and hasnt lost weight he does have a lot of acid problems for his stomach and take some over the counter acid reducer pills he is a smoker and a drinker and is 43

Some advices that I can give to you are: -Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone - Use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent. -Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath. Soak your anal area in plain warm water 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a day.
