What Is The Treatment For Blood In Urine?

I have been married for 14 years now. Am 40 and my wife 38. In 2004 I started experiencing strange developments. Usually between Dec and March, I bleed after sex. After sex, I would feel like urinating and when I go to urinate, its blood that comes out and sometimes I hav pains to urinate because blood even clots. I have done various investigations but Drs dont diagnose any problem, please help.

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to urinary tract infection.

For further assessment, you may require complete hemogram, urine analysis, ultrasound abdomen after consultation.

Keep your self hydrated. Take a balanced diet.

Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. In case of infection, you may require broad-spectrum antibiotics like cefixime after consultation.

In case of pain, you can take tablet acetaminophen.
