Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Noted the history about your son having burning pain and now stared getting diarrhea, went to ER with possible inflammatory bowel syndrome or early pancreatitis, sent home without treatment and second time gave one and half bags of intravenous fluids, prescription of Levsin and a bottle of laxative.

Levsin makes him hurt more. Levsin is Hyoscyamine hence is is not expected to cause any pain. It is a painkiller by anti-spasmodic way. Laxatives might have been given for fecoliths or constipation and worked to cause diarrhea. Since the problem has not stopped, I would advise you the following:

- Go back to the ER and ask for the clinical evaluation, investigations of blood, stool and urine.

- Ultrasonography and other tests as may be required. They may give further dosages. The investigations would give additional idea about the further medicines and if required the admission for further care. Insist on.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
