What Is The Treatment For Compression Fracture?

I am 80 yr old female and would like to start an exercise program. Recently had compression fracture of T-12. My back has healed but still tender. Have CAD and peripheral neuropathy in legs. Was doing yoga till fracture. Just diagnosed with hypothyroidism (on Synthroid) so am unusually tired. Want to begin exercising sensibly. Advice?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks for seeking help on your issue; I have gone through your symptoms, and in my opinion, you need to go for light exercises which strengthen your back muscles, lye down on your front and lift your back up to 20 to 30 degree and maintain this position till you feel comfortable but not more than 10 sec, then repeat, go slow and according to your tolerance limit.
I hope I have been able to provide you with a satisfactory solution, if you want to clear any doubts about my opinion, feel free to contact.
Special note- Any medication prescribed needs to be taken after consultation with your personal doctor only.
Thanks
Dr. Narender Saini
