What Is The Treatment For Constipation?

My 3.5 week old is constipated. On third formula for fussiness and gas. First tried regular Enfamil, then Enfamil Gentlease, and now Enfamil ProSobee. Soy seemed to be helping with gas but now he is in a lot of pain from constipation. When he does go poop, it is more like a childs poop not a newborns. I gave him 2 ozs of watered down apple juice but no result yet. Any suggestions?

It is common for babies to pass stools once in few days
Try giving apple juice twice or thrice a day
Nothing to worry
Will settle soon
