What Is The Treatment For Cough And Sore Throat?

I'm 40 5'6 162 lbs. I am vacationing in the Philippines. I think I have a cold with some coughing which hurts when I cough, sore throat, aches all over and have some yellow thick phlegm discharge . It's been 3-4 days that I have been feeling. I usually never get a cold. Should I take antibiotic? I have access to it.

I THINK YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM ACUTE ON CHRONIC TONSILLITIS.START GARGLES WITH WARM SALINE WATER ,YOU CAN TAKE ANTIBIOTICS FOR 5 DAYS AND SOME ANTIINFLAMMATORY DRUGS.AVOID CEATING COLD STUFF.CONSULT AN ENT SPECIALIST IF SYMPTOMS PERSIST.
