What Is The Treatment For Diarrhea And Vomiting?

This has happened 4 times in the last 3 wks . After eating within 30 minutes or less having these systems: severe lower abdominal cramps then diarrhea and vomiting, sweats, redness of skin with itching, shakes, ( 1once with muscle twitching ). Been taking 50 mg of benedryl. This relieves the symptoms after a period of time. This seams to happen after using spices on food. Have looked on the ingredients and most of them do not list MSG. Please and thank you for helping.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea which seems to be due to electrolyte imbalance in body. It could be due to acute gastroenteritis and food poisoning. Need not to worry. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined and start treatment after prescription. Avoid taking Domperidone. you should avoid taking dairy products in excess. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food.You can take banana on daily basis and light food. You should start treatment with combination of fluoroquinolones and ornidazole.You should get intravenous fluid administration as well. Drink plenty of fluids to rehydrate yourself.
