Hello Stephanie!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Your symptoms seem to be related to low blood pressure or orthostatic hypotension (the black spells when standing up and fatigue).

The neck pain could be related to musculo-skeletal pain or inflammation.

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your GP for a physical check up and some tests:

- a cervical spine X ray study
- complete blood count for anemia
- PCR and sedimentation rate for inflammation

An infection could trigger all this clinical scenario.

Meanwhile, I would recommend taking painkillers for the neck pain and plenty of fluids for a good hydration. Some rest would help improve the situation.

A close monitoring of blood pressure is also necessary to investigate for low blood pressure.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Best wishes, Dr. Aida
