What Is The Treatment For Fever With Cold And Cough?
Hi
My daughter is 2 years 11 months old, she is having fever again and again since February this year. Her fever goes up to 103, and lasts for 5-7 days. Her paediatrician is saying that she is having viral fever again and again . Please suggest me she is really having viral fever again and again or there is something else. Now also she is having fever with cough and cold. And she relieves when I gave her Ibugesic Plus or Maftal P.
Please help me.

Commonest cause of recurrent cold cough fever is viral infection. She needs thorough examination to look for septic foci like Tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media, enlarged adenoids.If fever again recurs then it is worthwhile to do urine examination as well.
You can give ayurvedic medicine like imunocin after consulting your doctor to reduce recurrent infection. Hope this answers your query
