Hi,
I have read your query.
Myfriend, medication you are taking must be under supervision of doctor. Only then your problem will be solved.
Vyvanse is a federally controlled substance (CII) because it can be abused or lead to dependence. Keep in a safe place to prevent misuse and abuse.
You must keep yourself on positive side and have regular follow with your treating doctor. I will definitely say that you will be much more beneficial at the end of the story.
I am assuming that your doctor have already advised you E.S.R and Temporal artery
biopsy for your exact diagnosis to be made and you have high ESR and positive biopsy of temporal artery.
You can take medications like glucocorticoids,
methotrexate,
aspirin by prescription of your family doctor.
Symptoms usually resolve quickly, often within two to three days of the initiation of the corticosteroid. I generally recommend continuous high dosage of
prednisone until the ESR has declined to a normal level. This usually occurs within four to six weeks.
Once the ESR has normalized, a steroid taper is begun, my patients have at least recurrence of disease activity during the course of the taper.
But if during your treatment, if you develop any new symptoms i.e change in vision,
headaches, jaw or
arm pain or weakness, or a new cough, then immediately contact with your doctor.
Thanks.
Dr.Singh.
