Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter occasionally is complaining that she is feeling as though she is "floating". She is 6 years old and very mature for her age. When she feels this she is usually laying down. What would cause this? She does not have any starring spells or any symptoms that would represent a seizure. She is fine immediately after. She just says that she is exhausted. Any suggestions?
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Such issues are common with children when they understand the hard facts of life such as diseases, life and death. The realization that they can also have diseases, may lead to obsession towards bodily symptoms. Your child should be obsessing with such thoughts. In psychology these symptoms are normal. Still for physiological clearance, you should consult a physician.
Psychotherapy techniques should suit your requirement. If you require more of my help in this aspect, Please post a direct question to me in this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible. I shall prescribe the needed psychotherapy techniques.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
