What Is The Treatment For Frequent Loose Stool In 10 Month Old?

Hi Doctor,
This is Deepthi.My son is 10 months old.Past 10 days he is suffereing from Loose motions.For first 7 days i treated him with OFM , it didn't control.Then doctoe changed the prescription to Emeset ans Nutroline B.After he started medicating on these , his situation had becom worst.He having watery motions every 10-15 minutes.Can u help out in recovering my son.

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM.
Please rule out lactose intolerance for the child by stool PH. and accordingly feeds may be tried.
Stool culture to be carried out to know the exact bug causing the problem and accordingly child may be given drug with sensitivity.
Take care of the hydration.
