What Is The Treatment For Gall Bladder And Correct Diet Regimen?
Hi ,I am 23 year old girl n having 2 cm stone in gallbladder ,pls suggest me the suitable treatment for it.is this a big stone?tell me the right diet in this condition.i am having gastric acidity due to it after eating the food that trouble me a lot.pls help me for this. Thanks and Regards
Hello and welcome to HCM, Gall stones produce symptoms of indigestion, acidity, water brash, regurgitation etc. The management of gall stones is cholecystectomy or removal of the gall bladder. Presence of gall stone leads to inflammation of the gall bladder mucosa which can clinically present with features of acute cholecystitis. Thus, consult a surgeon for planning a cholecystectomy (surgical removal of gall bladder). After surgical removal do not forget to get the histopathological examination of the gall bladder. In the meanwhile you need to take light food to suppress the symptoms of gastritis and indigestion. However, this will provide only symptomatic relief. Complete relief will only be obtained after surgical removal of the bladder.
