What Is The Treatment For Hard Lumps And Its Scars?

My baby has these hard lumps that come and go. Sometimes they are on her legs, back, buttocks or stomach. They are painful while they are there but then they go away in a few days. It may not come back for a few weeks but they do leave a scar. What are they?
