I gave her Acetaminophen first at 3:00pm when symptoms first arrived then again at 10:00pm. just checked her temp again its now 102.2 she was complaining of a sore neck and thirst. she isnt dehydrated she did have dinner and is now sleeping. what should I do if symptoms dont worsen but fever remains? How long should I wait?

Hi,
She might be having viral infection producing high fever.
This might remain for few days.
Meanwhile give her Acetaminophen as and when required to control her fever.
Give her plenty of water.
Give her light food.
If fever continue then consult your doctor and get examined.
Ok and take care.
