What Is The Treatment For Hyperactive Child?
Hi, may I answer your health queriHI my son is nearly 5 years old, he always shout instead of talk, he is like he has an on off switch, he lashes out at his siblings he ignores you when you talk to him,he runs around in a hyper way, will not make eye contact with me, he steals from school and hides objects in his bed, hes very inquizative cuts wires to see whats inside them, he is very bright, his speech is unclear he cant read but he can write his name, please help...es right now ? By what you quote I feel your child is having hyperactivity. It may be an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Hyperactivity is a disorder of the mental makeup of the kid and not a physical deformity of the brain. Some kids may respond to iron simply and some kids my need other medications like Atomoxetine. But whatever it is the kids needs a thorough psychological evaluation and may be after behavioral therapy it might get better. But usually hyperactivity kids have very good IQ and if their energy can be diverted to a vocational training or any art or sport they like they will do wonders. I suggest you seek the help of a good pediatric psychologist.
