General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

To treat the meniscus tear I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest to ice the knee and elevate it. I also suggest to compress or wrap the knee in an elastic bandage to reduce inflammation. If the symptoms continue, I suggest to consult your orthopedist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
