What Is The Treatment For Loose Motions?
My child has 4 months old age, he had not going daily motion. We are giving him to "Milk of magnesia". Then he motion freely. Yesterday we given to him same milk of magnesia. Today he got loose motions like watery type 3 to 5 times. My wife give to him "Sporlac 1/2 sachet". Controlled motions till 4 hours. But now continued. Please give me any suggestions.

passing motion once in 7 days is not constipation in infants.neither applying pressure for motion is constipation.Hard motion is constipation.it is not common at 4 months.Milk of magnesia at 4 months can be very very dangerous.it can tear intestine.Stop it immediately.Constipation at 4 months require workup like for hypothyroidism,hirshprung disease.So please consult your doctor
