What Is The Treatment For Loose Motions?

Hi! My son is 11 yrs old. He had throat infection 1 week back. Doc gave him taxim o 200 mg for 5 days . After five days he has having loose motion . Again doc is asking to give him taxim o for two more days .can I give him econorm sachet with taxim o. How many time should I give him and how to give him?

Causes of loose motion in your child could be due to same viral infection which caused throat infection or due to antibiotics. In either cases he will benefit from econorm sachet twice a day. Maintain good hydration. Motion will take 3-4 days to stop.
