What Is The Treatment For Loose Motions?

My husband is having loose motions since morning.I suspect after eating @a suspect restaurant last night.today morning he took bi quinol twice (1pm and 5pm respectively) since he was at work.later due to no change in the condition,he took ammonium at 8pm..due to dehydration n loose motions he turned week and has fever.after giving him electoral water and half a pomegranate fruit,I have given him an antacid and Crocin and metrogyl.please help with prescription

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your husband visiting a restaurant, having loose stools, took bi-quinol, Electral, antacid, crocin and metrogyl; and pomegranate .
Since the cause is obvious, this is gastroenteritis with its complications.
I would advise him the following:
Continue Metrogyl, Electral.
Clinical evaluation by your Doctor for examination and decide the investigations.
Send the stool for tests as well as blood.
Add on prescription based antibiotic.
Probiotics and multivitamins.
Give the full course and he will be fine.
