I have got menieres and because of ear wax I have been advised to have my ears syringed or suctioned. I have complete loss of hearing in one ear and it is now affecting the other so as you can imagine I am extremely worried and do not want to do anything that could make it worse. Hello

Dear meniere's disease or endolymphatic hydrops is due to increased pressure in endolymphatic hydraulic pressure lead to vertigo, tinnitus and deafness.

Yes you may need middle ear injection of gentamicin or steroid to elevation of vertigo symptoms.

surgical procedure like endolymphatic sac procedures and vestibular nerve resection also used to decrese pressure.

Please don't neglect and consult your ENT surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care.
