Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I started taking metformin (500mg 2X/day) over a month ago. However, I m now experiencing tight muscles in the back of my left thigh. It makes it painful to sit down. It s only my left thigh. Its now getting to the point where it is starting to hurt while lying down. Should I ask my doctor for different medication or is there something I can do? I ve never had muscle pain before or for so long.
