What Is The Treatment For One Sided Paralysis?

My brother one side paralised after stroke before five year. after that lots treatment has done. some time he was little beter,and also can walk. but the effected area s improbment is not there. he is around 50 years old and remain very upset all the time. help with your kind advice

I read your question and I understand your concern about your brother.

A stroke means that a part of his brain was irreversibly damaged. Unfortunately once it has happened there is no specific treatment to bring that damaged part back to life.
What improvement is expected is thanks to uninjured areas compensating for the injured ones, but that compensation often is not at 100% so some symptoms remain and after the first 6 months little improvement is to be expected.
So I am afraid physical therapy now serves only to maintain his current function and no further advances can be expected, I am sorry.
Of course he should continue the medication given by his doctors which serves to prevent another stroke with more consequences from happening.

I hope things work out for the best.
