What Is The Treatment For Over Reactive Bladder And Blood In Urine?
I have the urge to urinate and then when I go it s a very little amount, almost nothing, but I just noticed there is a bit of blood in my urine. I also have this sort of pinching dull pain in my urethra (I assume it is my urethra). I haven t had a bowel movement in 3 days. I had quite a bit of sexual intercourse over the last few days after not having it in months. There are so many things to me that I could assume is causing it, the pain is tolerable, just uncomfortable but it is the blood in my urine that has me nervous. Should I go to the ER or wait until tomorrow and go see my regular doctor?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some urinary tract infection or genital tract infection. In male patients it is commonly seen in benign prostatic hyperplasia. Hesitancy, urgency and difficulties in urination is common with prostate problem. You need a course of antibiotics like levofloxacin or norfloxacin. No need to go to the ER. Just consult your routine doctor and take treatment accordingly.
