What Is The Treatment For Pain And Swelling In Knee?
Hi, I had a partial menisectomy 2 weeks ago and I noticed yesterday that my knee and below is slightly darker than the other knee, the swelling is present. The incision looks good, I don t have a constant pain, the pain is rare and light that comes and go. I do smoke and drink coffee though, is this a problem? I started my home physical therapy day 1 after surgery and I am pretty active moving around the house during the day, what should I do about the darker knee? Thanks in advance.

Dear Madam,
If there is a presence of swelling then it is a matter of concern for me , I will advise to give rest to your knees and avoid exertion .
