What Is The Treatment For Pain In Ankle And Knee?

Hello Doctor,
I am female and age 26; working in software.
I got pain in calves for last 3 months and with the help of a Physiotherapist, found it is a nerve compression in left leg ankle and treated physio therapy. And felt better than before but not entirely cured,
Now, when I walk or stand for few mins, I am getting pain in my left leg ankle joint and in the knee bone.
I also feel discomfort in my back.

Could you please provide your suggestions.
Thank you!

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
The symptoms that you are having are likely to be related to benign causes like electrolyte imbalance, vitamin B 12 and vit D deficiency, etc. Most of the times these symptoms can be taken care of by taking electrolyte rich fluids and Methylcobalamin and vit D supplements.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief
Strengthening gradual exercises will help in reducing pain.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
