What Is The Treatment For Pain In Foot Due To Pulling Of A Nerve?

Hello, In the last year i occassionally will get like a nerve that pulls in my legs, mostly the right leg but can also happen to my left leg. It happens mostly at night but can happen even when sitting, also happened when swimming. My foot twists into a sideways position and the pain is excruciating. It usually lasts just a few minutes or can be very brief but I find i must stay still and wait for it to pass, any movement can worsen the problem. I just had blood tests done and all is normal. What can be the cause? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hello,

the symptoms you have mentioned here are because of sudden abnormal contractions of calf muscles. The causes are not very certain.. but assumed causes are muscle exhaustion.. poor hydration.. stressful day schedule etc.. there can be many more..
To avoid this.. maintain proper hydration.. 3.5 to 5 litre water per day.. do some relaxing exercises in the evening .. Take vit c reach fruits..
And if it happens again.. then don't worry flex your toes upwards with the help of your hand.. it will subside early.
Hope this will help you..
