What Is The Treatment For Pain In The Buttock Hole?

Hi, I am a 19 year old female, and the other day I noticed that something was wrong with my butthole. It hurts all the time now, and I can feel a ball thing on the top, but it is inside the skin. I can squeeze and It hurts so bad. What do you think it is? How can I get rid of it?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per the pain intensity, this can be possible congestion in hemorrhoid or developing inflammatory boil involving peri-anal region.

Primary guidelines at present are:

- Drink more liquids and consume diet with high fiber to get soft bowel evacuations.
- In case of hard stools, take bulk forming laxative as Ispaghula husk or others.
- Analgesic as Ibuprofen medicine, 3 times a day after meals if no history of drug sensitivity.
- Sitz bath with lukewarm water added Epsom salt.
- Consult your general surgeon for the proctoscopy examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
