HELLO DOCTOR, I 36 YEAR OLD MALE, I AM SUFFERING FROM PEPTIC ULCER AND ACID REFLUX FOR THE LAST 2YEARS. I AM HAVING SOMPRAZ, LESURIDE AND SUCRAMAL . KINDLY PLS ADVISE, IF I NEED TO CHANGE ANY MEDICINES. I AM ON CONTROL DIET, WITH NO OIL,NO SPICES AND NO SOUR FOODS

Hello,
As long as the peptic ulcer is concern PPI (proton pump inhibitor) is the best drug else the healing is natural procedure may take some time, during this time period diet control is the only option you have with the drug tablet Omeprazole (PPI) once in day for six week or more (Or a similar group of drug can be used) can be continued beside this other drug can be changed if clinically they are not indicated.
