Firstly get the patient to a place where he has comforts. He needs to meet the urologist. They will do a rectal examination. Get serum PSA done. If levels are high will need a prostate biopsy. He may need a TURP procedure for BPH if having obstructive symptoms. Based on the final reports of the biopsy or TURP procedure he will need further treatment.
